I lost everything as well. It's no big deal really. I kind of think the low post count is funny. Losing something like seven years of posts is a bit disheartening however.

The way long-time members were targetting makes you wonder if it was a hack or a bug in Fusetalk. Either way, not a problem being a n00b for a while.
it does make you wonder if you all had large postcounts if it was deliberate.
The super post counters (50K+) have not gotten affected.

I reregistered with a different username, I really hope the data can be recovered, or at least the userinfo can be restored.
Aren't you afraid that someone else will join the forum with your old username, SampSon?
I went and recreated the account because of the slim chance someone would do that.

I can believe that this was an exploit in fusetalk that some prick member took advantage of. Who knows, I just want my PMs, userinfo and posts back. Poop.

If that were the case, that would be pretty messed up.

What times did other people lose their accounts?

I was going to ask about the possiblity of just restoring the entire database from a date prior to the "abduction", but that would really screw up the FS/FT forum.

I was sending PMs back and forth in the early evening on new years eve.
I guess someone said the account disappeared at like 11pm that night.

This happened to me back in August 04. At the time my post count was only like 5000 something. I did have a join date of late 00' or early 01' (can't recall exactly).....you can see I was here at least since 3.01 because of my very first heatware eval

Back when I got deleted it wasn't that big of a deal. I just recreated my account and went on my merry way.....getting called n00b here or there didn't bother me.

However, if they can modify our join date that would be nice......:music: To not be a n00b again....is an AT'ers dream....:music:

If they're making custom titles for deleted accounts I recommend "PHOENIX" seeing as how we've risen from the ashes and all 🙂

need therapy for not wanting to participate in a forum anymore? (afterall, its just a forum)

its not like i'm suicidal or something 😛

I can no longer sign in with my "Burner127" account. It keeps telling me I have been successfully logged out even though I am trying to log in.

---

My bad while doing other things. Your account is fixed. 🙂

Yes, I would like to have the join date reset, the post count is neither here nor there, though it does show a level of participation. The fact that ALL my posts I've ever made are gone sucks and the PMs. 🙁

The phoenix title would be funny.

why the heck haven't they reset your join date?

I'm not affected by this...but two days without any updates of any kind? Is anything even being done? Doesn't inspire confidence in a resolution if something did happen that affected me.

My postcount still shows way up there (not that i'm worried about that). All of my PMs are still there and appears that any post I had is still there. Only thing missing are threads that I started (and I had some good ones that I used to refer back to once in a while plus that long-running one filled with every article on prisoner abuse since Abu Ghraib broke). Had it in the back of my mind over the holidays to somehow download that entire thread locally. Woulda, shoulda, coulda. 😉

NOTE: Archived threads seem ok...it's only current/active threads of mine that are gone.
huge loss 🙁
