EDIT: By the way, from your title, I thought you had a Pain In The A$$ speaker today.

I'm not in high school, I go to college. And I know why we had this speaker, because my English professor is a liberal POS. The first day in class he was bashing the Constitution. I wanted to smack the grin off his face when he said that.

Yeah, but is it a public university?
Either way, I would be pissed. But if it is publicly funded, I'd be much more pissed. Public universities shouldn't be pushing a political agenda.
If they want to give different groups the chance to speak to students, fine.
But forcing you to listen to a terrorist organization is way out of line.

First, he showed us all of these videos on how farmers abused animals and such. Yea, there's some out there, that's human. But he did NOT show statistics of who does this, I want to find out how many of these slaughterhouse companies do this? I asked him about this during the Q and A situation and he couldn't answer this, he went around it. Typical.

Second, I asked him about that magazine PETA was pushing around to Elementary schools telling the kids their "MOTHER IS A MURDER" and it shows a picture of a angry woman holding a knife over a bunny. I asked him about this and he just really angry and started to talk louder like he wanted to hurt me. This guy was wayyy over the edge.

Now I hate PETA even more, I hate them more than liberals now! :Q :D ;)

Yeah, that's a problem. Typically profs who pull that are profs of "soft" subjects that can give you whatever grade they want... not like a math course or science course where your answers are right or wrong.

I was the only one disagreeing with him, everyone else was too scared to even disagree with one of his statements. They all bought it like butter.

It was mandatory for all of my professor's students to listen to this asshat. Also, we had to turn in our paper at the end of class and if we left; we weren't going to be able to come back and he wouldn't accept it since it would of been "late." Bastard. :|

Hope you let him have it in the paper. speak to the Young Republicans club on campus and see if they have any influence. Maybe you can get your teacher in trouble for trying to force his agenda rather than teaching.

I would have listened, then turned in a paper that described exactly what I thought of the guy. About how he dodged questions and how you were completely unpersuaded by his pitiful excuse for a speech. Then, in the middle of the next class, I would pull out a nice big hamburger (maybe stop at fudruckers and get a 1lb burger or something) and start eating it. Make casual comments about how you wonder how many cows were mistreated in order for you to enjoy this fine hunk of meat. Point out how the ketchup looks just like blood and how it oozes out as you take a bite. If you really want to have some fun, stop at the grocery store before class and get a pound or 2 of ground beef and start smacking it around during class.

Is this a public or a private university? In some states, public employee teachers/instructors/professors are forbidden from using their classrooms to push their political ideologies and agendas. And rightly so, the public cuts their checks.

they probably didnt care.
were the rest of the students cheering him on and all nodding their head's in agreement while youre the lone bastion of "truth" standing up to him and the rest of the class? so if they dont speak up or agree with you, they are just buying it like butter?
right.

Oh man, why didn't my school bring in cool presentations like this?
I would have had a field day with that guy. Probably would have gotten kicked out, and suspended as well.

The best we got were thoes stupid anti-drug like, singing/acting groups. But, making fun of them was tough because if we did, we knew we would get busted for having weed on us in school.

Yes, I figured it out early on, that if you want to get good grades in a class don't clash with your profs, tell them what they want to hear, regardless if it clashes with your personal opinion. This sucks but it is the truth.

i belong to P.E.T.A.

Please Eat The Animals!

one of these pansyassed freaks told me the other day that she could never eat anything that had a face and wanted to know how i could.
well i just told her that i always cut their faces off before i eat them. so now i was on the offensive with this damn veggie-head.
and had to bring up the fact that at least a cow had the chance to run away if it wanted to, but what about the wheat? what about the wheat man? it never had a chance to get away. it saw you coming and never had a chance to even put up a fight!
i have the teeth of an omnivore, therefore i am an equal opportunity eater of all things tasty!
