Thank you all for the kind words. I doubt we get another dog soon, but we will get another one eventually when we're ready. Maybe 6 months, maybe a year. I'll never rescue another animal again, that's for sure. Our rescue cat has a terminal heart disease, and then poor little Brody.

Vaccinations take time to work. It's possible the puppies already had distemper prior to the rescue getting them.
