It's interesting to note, during the last drawing on 03/27, there were 47 second-prize winners.

Second prize is $250,000. Drop half to taxes and that's $125,000 net. Split by 122, that works out to $1000 return on a $5 buy-in.

While I was out today with the family, saw a lotto place and my wife said we should play. So we played everyone's birthdays. But I got a Powerball instead of the mega millions. Not sure what would be funnier, if the MM turned out to be those numbers or if Powerball turned out to those numbers.

You know, I hate to mention this NOW, but, did your state have the option to buy the tickets online? Apparently mine did which is what prompted me to go ahead and get $5 worth. I'm too damn lazy to go out of my way from work to get tickets.

Yeah, the lack of the paper record, especially since you want to show proof of the numbers that you bought, would probably be less attractive for this kind of thing. I was surprised though, I could choose the number of tickets and have them automatically do the random number generation. Plus, it seems like they send you a Visa check card which they fill with your winnings for amounts $600 and less. In addition, they have year subscriptions that you can get. I had no idea that the state lotto could be that internet savvy.

For now I'll just watch you guys slowly fill out the spreadsheet. MMmmmmm... that's right...

i hope only the ones doing data imput are the only ones who can edit the spreadsheet.

Already tried and failed. :(
