I've never played. How do I buy a ticket? Do I need to select numbers on the machine screen, or can I just insert cash and say: give me 20 tickets with random numbers? I don't want to waste much time on this.

Also, where do I find the machines? Would they be at Target/Lucky? I'm in CA.

Not sure how authentication works but would it be risky to scan and link to the tickets? I assume there's some kind of serial number on the tickets that you don't want to give out in public or someone could use it to counterfeit a ticket and claim they bought it.
