Man what is up with all the Xaser haters out there. I don't think it's THAT flashy. Maybe just a lil' more than others. That's why I hate those Lian Li cases.....they look like a plain box...... I know some people want a modern, simple look but c'mon...anyway that's just my personal opinion. Don't be swayed by those Xaser haters. TT makes awesome products. I also was about to ask the same question that Rollo asked -How many of you Xaser haters have actually used a Xaser before?

My $.02

Mik3y..I never said there no owners of the Wavemaster..they just have not said much...

Also I not sure how much better the Wavemaster quality is as comapred to Tsunami...I have no way of seeing them side by side...but lets face it..if the review that stated 2mm aluminum for wavemaster vs Tsunami's 0.8 mm is correct that is a big deal

anyway.... I still think that fact that several of the reviews at newegg noted quality control issues is a big deal on a $150 case...small issue but that bothers me...not easy to RMA if therre is an issue

I love both cases and can not decide which to buy...both are slight smaller than my Antec SX830 and I am worried about the the lose of space

either way I still think the Coolermaster is better

I think Xaser3 case is bigger than those

That is OK nealh, I wasn't really responding to you as your post didn't really refer to the XaserIII.

I was responding to all the "fugly" and "p3wnd" type posts when I don't think there's an air cooled case in existence the "p3wns" the XaserIII.

It's just a very well designed case with superior cooling, perfect for the guy who doesn't want to worry about how hot his cpu and video card are.

if you look at the SX830, it's also a perfect case for cooling, my 630 does a wonderful job too.

I've used one briefly, basically it?s an overpriced, ugly/gaudy, loud version of an Antec without the Antec quality PSU.

Yeah, it's "gaudy": the name panel is backlit and it has a window on the side! <gasp>

It doesn't come with a psu, so you have your choice there. (I use an Antec 430 True)

well this is fun to read. I own the xaserIII and am impressed with it. I bought it last year when I wanted a flashy case, but now I'm regretting it I suppose. Though I have no wavemaster experience, I can let you know about the Xaser.

It's big, It has plenty of space for anything. The HDD's are mounted nicely in front of 2 fans to keep them nice and cool. there are also 5 other fans including an outtake fan on top. The only thing I dislike, is that it's a bit garish. I use to like the flashy look when it made my PC a rice burner, but now I would go for something a little more subtle.

I was going to buy a TT Tsunami until I saw a TT Tsunami and Wavemaster side by side in person at Microcenter. Let me tell you, the TT TSunami is a piece of plastic crap. The ONLY aluminum piece on the box is the front, which weighs 5 pounds and gets stuck on the 2nd plastc door if not locked. I was so unimpressed I bought the Wavemaster on the spot. The only advantage of the TT is the 120mm fans. But the Wavemaster is to Porsche as TT is to Ford when it comes to quality. BTW- the wavemaster is 100% ALL aluminum. The TT is all plastic except for the door. I found that a bit misleading before seeing it in person. Hope this helps
