Hmm, I understand putting out a reported fire but an aircraft that size must gulp a considerable amount of fuel, why not just send a fire truck for that tiny fire?. Anyway I have identified the aircraft involved and it's rather large. You're talking about using 30 gallons with a fire truck or several THOUSANDS of gallons feeding this beast.

I'd forgotten that movie, have to watch that again soon.

Loved Holly Hunter in that one, is a good one the wife likes also.

Didn't look that bad, they were able to stay standing at least. Water dispersed a lot..

I figured something like that would flatten you.

It WILL flatten you. When I was a fire fighter explorer, we went to a wildfire training center and said that the water from the tankers is not this soft like mist. I've seen a video of a fire truck being crushed.

Just like snow in an avalanche. It's not this soft powder. It's more like concrete.
