Water in ear....

Deeko

Lifer
So I went swimming Monday night, and got some water in my ear...which hasn't come out yet. It doesn't hurt or anything, but I can barely hear anything out of that ear. How the hell can I get this out?

stand on one leg (the one the same side as the ear), tilt top half of body to the same side, pull a little on your earlobe and bounce on the one leg... it will come out guaranteed.

get a can of air duster and blow up your nostrils.

bonus: it will freeze your brain too!

Go to the pharmacy and get some drops specifically made for people with this problem - "Swimmers Ear", I think. If you had tubes in your ears when you were young or other ear issues, it's common to encounter this from time to time. Myself, I find that swimming is second nature, but I get this all the time; it sucks, which is why I don't swim as often as I used to. Just use the drops and it should go away after a bit. Alternatively, drain your ears by lying on your side for hours.

That's the idea.
I did that all the time since I swam almost everyday.
