A guy named 2fresh sells custom made radiators o the hardocp forums , heres the link : Cool Rad. How do you think his stuff compares to other - comercial radiators?

A heatercore is bigger and a little harder to work with (it doesn't come with screwholes or tube fittings). They're generally much cheaper though.

question: once you turn off your comp, does all the liquid in the water cooling system drain into the reservoir?

What he's selling looks like any heater core you could get from a junkyrad. They usually work quite well at cooling, but don't look as nice as a black ice radiator (if you care about that at all), and may require stronger fans.

S Random: Once you shut your pc off the water should pretty much just stay where it is unless you have it draining into the top of your reservoir, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that before.....

the heatercore will cool very well, better than the ones by HWLabs. but like mentioned they will need strong >100 cfm fans and custom mounting.
