OMG PIRATES!@!@! Breaking into our headquarters! Hackingz our stuff with a PDA device.

LOL

Actually after watching it recently, I'm still laughing at how hilarious that entire scene was.

Bank vault sized door in receiving area outside, because what is inside is so important, yet not even a single CC camera watching the door.

After breaking in through super-door, you apparently accomplished what could have been done by walking in the front door and knocking out the only security guard in the building.

The whole movie was bad. Utterly terrible trash. The light cycle "race" was about the only okay thing to watch. Which I already saw in the commercials for the most part. Everything else was horrid to even think about.

What - you mean to tell me that data centers don't all have sliding tricked out glowing blue servers with plexiglass tops?

It makes me sad every time I go into my server room at work IRL...I always think, "MAN this needs more LED's" 🙁

movies aren't meant to be real!

... and got to thinking, they mention "years" all the time. But, technically speaking, a "year" is a measurement specific to the Earth and the amount of time it takes the Earth to revolve around the (our) sun.

So when Yoda says things like "When 900 years old you are..." what the hell is he referring to? There are other references to a "year" too that then lose meaning.

I realize there are other "years" out there too, like "Lunar year", Gaussian Year, Draconic Year etc etc, but I'm pretty sure these and (all?) others are based off an Earth/Sun/Moon relationship?
:hmm:

Yeah - our room is very boring. Maybe I'll put it in the budget for next year...

I disagree that it's trash. The movie was about style more than anything. The soundtrack was awesome. I went and saw it twice at iMax. If you go with the mindset of "oh, there's no motor cycles inside of the computer!" mentality, then obviously you won't enjoy the movie.

Also, if you hate terrible acting and dialogue, you won't enjoy this movie.
