That sucks....what he said was 100% right on. One slur being tolerated while others are not is a serious double standard. Either accept them all or except none, no in between on this.

There is a bit of weirdness as far as mods are concerned. Its crap, but what can I do? I dont pay the bandwidth.
I remember my thread about silencers got locked. It was completely innocent. Just a question. And yet threads which OBVIOUSLY will turn into raging forest fires off lames are let to run and run. That was really the deciding factor to me that the mods definately apply there own agenda here. And SOMEONE is a NRA hating peace loving lets-ban-all-guns hippie.

I didn't read his gay bashing thread.

He just kept bringing it up unable to accept that the term 'gay' is a word commonly used it society, most of the time it doesnt even have anything to do with sexuality when its used and he was talking about how that shouldn't be allowed or why its allowed, something like that. I didn't waste my time with all of it because it just seemed like such a stupid thing to complain about. Words are words, you choose to be offended by them for the most part. The mods are not perfect but considering they're doing a FREE VOLUNTEER job I think they do a good job.

I just think in this case only banning Evan was not a good idea especially after the other poster states:

well there are more than one mod... i figure that some are okay but some are... questionable.

LOL I wish, I've had my share of threads locked ... My favorite was a FREE Adult DVD in the Hot Deals forum took the mods a few hours to find and delete that thread.

I'm sure that eventually this thread will be locked and/or deleted.
