2008 was full of ups and downs.
Got my first real job which I'll be starting summer 2009 after school.
Lost a few what I thought were good friends.
Made plenty of new friends.
Got new roommates for the better.

The scariest thing happened to me this year, but so did the best. Guess that makes this the most memorable year.

Overall is was a good year. Made more money than I ever have in my life, wife got a raise that was about 20%, mortgage payments went down.

On the downside, was diagnosed with diabetes, Father-in-Law diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and 401K took a dive in the crapper like everyone elses but I'm confident it will come back.

Reasonably well. I'm now finished with the bulk of my college classes for a B.S. degree, with only my senior design project remaining.
This comes just in time for me to attempt to enter a lousy economy and dwindling job market, just like in 2002, when I tried to finish up an Associate's Degree in MIS/Cisco Networking - that was of course during the time when the NASDAQ crapped its pants and ran home crying.

Pretty shitty. Academically it was great, but "life" wise it sucked.

Agreed.

Mine was academically fail. :( I got a 3.3 GPA and had to take an incomplete on one of my classes because someone dropped the class at the last moment on a huge project that was worth massive points. :| I hate engineering classes. I was kinda sad/happy when I got a B+ in my english class.. It meant that I got a 90%+ on my research paper, but that I still wouldn't get an A in the class, lol. :p

I wish I was taking more classes next term; they are all full.. I am taking one class and making up the incomplete. It's going to be a l-o-n-g term. :( Hopefully I can get into a class for my physical education requirements or whatever. :p
