Warren ends campaign

Odds on who she supports?. If she supports no one? I still suspect that as much as 2/3rds of her supporters will go to the Biden camp.

No way she backs bernie now after the way she's treated him. I used to respect her, but what a horrible person she has become.
I was also disappointed with her attacks on everyone. Still think she would make a great AG.

I would think she would endorse Bernie. If she doesn't then I assume it is out of spite, for whatever things have happened between them, but from a pure policy standpoint, the obvious choice is Bernie.

No regrets with my vote after listening to her presser. America just isn’t a place where the best person = the best candidate/winning candidate—and we need to figure out why.

I’m not crying, you are!!

I think Warren is definitely aiming at a VP nomination, but I think if Biden gets the ticket he needs to beg Obama to be his VP.

A Biden/Obama ticket would be a hands down winner among Democrats.
I don't think Obama can run as VP, since he's not eligible to be president again if the need arises.

I doubt Obama is interested and that seems like something that would be too controversial.

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.
Emphasis mine. VP -> President transition isn't due to election. Technically wouldn't violate the constitution.

I don't know. My guess is he offers a chance to Stacey Abrams but I don't know if she has a desire to be "token black woman". Pete is probably a safe 2nd bet for a young gun on the bench and will help him in Iowa and some other Midwest states.

I don't even know if Biden has a desire to run a second term. He may just be looking for someone to groom and take the wheel.

So why didn't Obama-Biden run as Biden-Obama in 2016? Then Biden could have resigned presidency to Obama and Obama could have appointed him as VP again.

I assume because they didn't want to? Because it's a pretty obvious exploitation of the spirit of the constitution and our voting procedures, and that's not Obama/Biden's bag?

There is no Constitutional reason for this. Otherwise the full requirements for President would have to apply to everyone in the line of succession, which it obviously does not.

Julian Castro would be an interesting possibility. Biden could use some Hispanic outreach, and he would still offer ties to Warren's camp.

Not sure on Castro. He was throwing haymakers at Biden on the age thing. Pete was too, but he didn't personalize the attack. There's plenty of sound clips there that will not play well.

Doesn't matter. The 12th Amendment says no one can be VP who is constitutionally ineligible to be president, which Obama is.

But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

I hope not. VP is a garbage position. Warren needs to stay in the Senate or even AG to really put the fear in the assholes out there.

someone like Buttigieig should be tapped for VP, imo.

I don't know what's best for Warren, but no way is it a good idea for Biden to pick another white male moderate for VP. Warren would be a much better choice for him.
