subjective, no one i know that's tried these has liked them, in other words they suck

i have to say this about the company, if you complain they refund the full amount, no questions asked

Besides, you're paying over $10/lb for meat. Hardly a bargain in my book, no matter how good the steaks and burgers taste.

Good price considering what these steaks usually cost.

And for people with money or for extra special guests, business meetings especially, the cost is easily worth it for some of the best steak you can get.

(especially if you don't live in the midwest, around DC most steak is ok but nothing great)

Yes, they are quite good.

I second that. Terrific flavor and so tender you can cut them with a fork. Plus you can have fun with the dry ice.

No. Not really. I didn't find them anything special the one time I ordered some. America's Test Kitchen found them to place at the bottom of their taste tests--below choice steak from a supermarket (and they're located in the NE.) They recommend getting organic steak from a natural foods type of place if you want to spend good money on steak.

I'll state that my wife believes that the fillet is better than anything we purchased in the store. As for the sirloin....eh.....as good, I would not rate it any better. The burgers.....quite good....no complaints here. I am not sure if it is worth the price, but good.

I live in NE and can say all of that. I've tried all sorts of steaks - from the cheap, inexpensive stuff to stuff that I really wish I did not pay for because I thought it was too much. I'll have to try a fillet. The best one that I had was from a Ruth Chris Steakhouse in KC. Note - I said the best one that I've had - not the best one around. Also, remember that it all depends how well you cook it. I've butchered some in my life.....nothing like the ones that will bounce off the floor....have not done that with one from OS yet. I'd say that they are above average.

mmmmm....the ABSOLUTE best steak I have ever had (I think I'll sell my computer to get another one... 😉 ). Copeland's here in ATL is the second best I've ever had...and much more reasonable. I've never tried Omaha, but I just can't imagine paying the price per/lb. for a flash frozen steak when I can get any good quality Black Angus sirloin for $5-7/lb in town.

They aint no Ruth Chris steaks, or amazing steaks for steak connoiseurs, but compared to the original price of 57 for jsut steaks....this is good

Looks like you're getting mixed reviews. 😉

I personally thought they are very good and order from them all the time. Never had a problem with them, other than once you order they will call you for the rest of your life.
