One starts loving Netflix, but as time goes on and you start renting more than 3 movies per week, Netflix puts you in a LOW RANK territory where service slows down substantially for any new releases.
Just as an example, I COULD NOT get "Kill Bill" for 4 weeks when it came out on DVD. I complained. They then acquiesed and had a copy mailed from the East Coast to West Coast. It took over one week to receive!! All the time, I learned the "Kill Bill dvd was shipping regularly to newer customers when it came out.
Such numerous examples of getting dicked around really wore my patience down to the nub, so I cancelled Netflix when Blockbuster came out with their service. I'm totally happy with Blockbuster. There's a large store close to me. Availability is almost never a problem. Some of their movie,s however, are in VHS or non-widescreen DVD format.....so I ask for the WS DVD version of the movie at the counter and within 3 days (Netflix time) I get my copy of the movie I want.
Blockbuster seems to be really bending backwards to keep their customers. What a change from FvckFLix!
