Well thats why there is an "agressive" option. AFAIK the HSR uses an approximation of some sort and the more aggressive you place the setting the more likely this "approximation" runs into unacceptable errors and then stuff incorrectly gets cut away. Now its up to the user to decide how far he goes with this setting. AFAIK setting 1 and 2 create correct (cough, acceptable) results, 3 and 4 will cull away some stuff incorrect which is perceived as flickering (its gets cut, it doesn't get cut, it gets cut, etc... thats the flicker effect).
Btw, the guy who did the HSR has posted on this forum, bet nobody of you realised that...
(Kristof 3dfx)

He is somewhere at B3D forum (I dont know too but just look at the dude which has the best driver knowledge about V5 HSR!)
My guess its indeed Kristof 3dfx!

You just posted someone else's speculation and presented it as something with more than just some understanding as a basis. We don't know how it works yet and as such, all your posts claiming the contrary are meaningless.

it's not Kristof (the HSR dude). He's still stuck in Europe awaiting passport/visa something or other.

that quote wasn't just some basic speculation. that was from Kristof himself.

my guess is that if you can find a lineup of Gigapixel employees that work for 3dfx now, you'll find your man.

Hardware you never cease to amaze me...Kristof hasn't even started working at 3dfx yet. You still think hes the one who wrote the new driver? Please just stick to covering Nvidia hardware...

<< Digobick are you a troll or just a idiot? >>

LOL!! Thanks for the laugh! I love your rational, calculated responses, complete with factual evidence and links. :)

Hardware, please explain to me what your original post means, in your own words. If you can, then I will apologize to you. If not, then I will stand by my statement.

But I'm sure you will just ignore what I say and call me a zombie; you're getting pretty good at that.
