I'm starting to think this is whole thread is a poorly done joke, because no real American would jerk off to the thought of a one-party dictatorship. It's literally a betrayal of the principles the country was founded on.

Seems that around 40% of your country doesn't agree with you. They seem perfectly fine with the idea as long as the party is the Republican Fascist Party of the United States.

And the polls have shown that his overall support has been around 40% pretty constantly since the beginning of the year and I don't think that he's gone below 36% or 37% since he was elected.

They've just been horribly misled & manipulated for a very long time. They're mostly victims of extremely effective right wing propaganda. Their heads are full of it. Their attitudes about the rest of humanity, particularly their countrymen, are often very poor indeed.
