Did you ever think that these guys didn't have a license to use a real gun. They would have been in even bigger trouble.

Now that said, am I the only one that thinks it's rediculous that this is a federal crime.

I think your spelling is a federal crime.

What's more ridiculous is your spelling.

LMAO

What's the big deal? They were just putting it out of it's misery. If animal control was called, they would have killed the cat too. They have way too many cats this time of year...

It's all good. Just remember it's with an "i".

Amused, your love of cats shouldn't blind you to that fact that federal resources are being wasted in this type of case. It is ridiculous that cats, dogs or any other animal's human caused death would consititute a federal crime. This should be a state issue, and a state issue only.

Yeah, I know it's wrong. And I wouldn't vote for it. But I can't see myself protesting in favor of these idiots. Sorry.

You don't know that. The cat wasn't sick or dying, it was just living there in a shed. They should have called animal control.

Never pronounce it as "rediculous" and you'll never spell it that way. Pronounce it with a short i like in the word "rid."

lame.... animal control could have come and gotten the cat and maybe even given it a new home... morons.

umm not where i live. my town is over run with fuc*ing stray cats. My wifes flower bed absoutly reeks in the spring when the temps start to rise with all the crap and piss from all the damn stray cats. I have tried everything on the market to keep them out of the flower gardens. i finally saw something cool at a greenhouse last month. its a motion sensor you put on a lawn sprinkler. so when mr kitty comes to take a dump he sets off the sprinkler and get a nice dose of water. I think that is my next and last resort to deal with this problem, but it pisses me off to have to spend 80 bucks on it. :| if this doesnt work im going to walmart and get a nice pump pellet gun with the nice sharp field pellets.

I and my neighbors have called animal control many times and they will do nothing when it comes to dealing with stray cats. They told me once to go get a live trap and when i catch one take it to the county animal shelter.

Hey, since it's a federal crime, they should be going to "federal pound me in the ass" prison.

LOL.

Yeah but Animal Control has the authority to do so...not Wal-Mart.

bullsh*t anybody can kill an animal. If i had a dog, i could take it in the back yard and blast it with my shotgun and not get in trouble. The problem is how its done. what these two clowns did was cruel. now if they put one pellet through its head and had a clean kill there wouldnt have been a problem with the law. but walmart would still have to do something to the empolyees to save face.

Unless the cat was diseased/rabid then they would destroy it otherwise it gets put up for adoption.

I'm surprised walmart didnt pick up on the opportunity to sell cats cheaper than mom and pop pet shops. If anyone from walmart is reading this you can send a check in the mail.

And you don't know if it was sick or dying either. Maybe there was no animal control willing to deal with this.

We had a cat run in our backroom lasy year and he lived there for about a week making a real nasty mess spraying and whatnot. We got a trap and he finally went in and we took him out of there.

Instead of calling animal control, let's just shoot it!

You have obviously never called animal control for stray cats, have you? I have. Their response is "cats are too hard to catch there is nothing we can do". So my response was " so, you are telling me that you will not do anything and I HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM MYSELF"....to which she replied "I didn't say that sir, I just said we can do nothing unless you bring us tha animal". Guess what.....I took care of the problem myslf.

Shooting a cat 4 times over 2 days might be considered animal cruelty and I see the point there but if you cannot discharge a real firearm in the area, animal control won't do anything, and you aren't a great shot with a pellet gun then there is going to be a problem. They should have aimed for the head and kept at it until the job was finished but a wounded cat is not going to sit there and let you shoot it AGAIN. Better yet, they simply should have live trapped the animal and then dumped it on animal control (effectively doing their job for them). I'm sorry but I can't see charging these guys with a FEDERAL crime and ruining their lives over a useless stray cat especially when they did what their boss told them to do. If all the loosers in this world would just spay and neuter their stupid pets instead of doing nothing and then dumping the unwanted animals that result from natural fluffy fornication on the general pouplation there wouldn't be a problem in the first place.

Hmm let's change some words around, instead of cats replace it with people. What if there was a homeless guy living in the shed, is it still okay for them to shoot the guy with a pellet gun and shrink wrap him in the dumpster because the police couldn't arrive?

Perhaps animal control should be blamed, not the actions of these idiots.

STFU you moron.

You are a typical liberal idiot trying to compare apples to oranges......a cat and a human are not on the same "value" scale you idiot. Nice try, but you loose.

Is that your only counter argument dumbass?

How about you start posting less instead of spreading your drivel around on this forum.
