Hi guys,
here is my situation. As a student I downloaded the 64bit Windows7 upgrade from Digitalriver. When the download was complete, I launched the downloaded file, and got this error
"We are unable to create or save new files in the folder in which this application was downloaded. Please check the folder properties to make sure that you have security permission on the folder to write files and that the folder is not read-only"
After contacting Microsoft and Digitalriver tech support and having both of them refer me to the other repeatedly, I'm still stuck.
Is it possible that the 64bit upgrade will not launch because the current OS is XP 32bit?
Any input will be hugely appreciated.
