VW Eos...Honest opinions

I've been drooling over this car for the last couple days; I do realize it is a feminine looking car, but i think with a nice set of wheels and black I could pull it off. It's basically a normal Jetta/Golf family member with a hardtop convertible option.

Personally i think it looks similar to my black Honda Civic coupe but a convertible with a nicer interior and bigger engine.

Thanks for your opinions

Crap reliability.

Don't ask others what they think about how a car looks - who's the one spending the cash?

Have you thought about the S2000 at all? 😛

It definitely looks like a chick mobile, but who cares? If you like the car and it does what you want it to do, what does it matter what anyone else thinks? It looks nice with the top down, but crappy with the top up.

A Miata is a pillar of manliness in comparison.

the EOS is.... really no good.
you know that thing is like almost 4000 lbs mostly because of the convertible hardtop?

Man that thing is hideous with those wagon wheels on it.

If you want a convertible, get a Jeep. 😉

I was going to make a remark like you better have an 11 inch appendage or be able to bench-press 5,000 pounds to pull off driving that car, but when you but the new bimmer and the VW next to each other, they don't look THAT different. 3700 lbs...yikes. 2006 GTO weighs 3725 lbs with a 6.0 liter, 400 hp/torque engine

i like the look, but i wouldn't touch another VW with a 10 foot pole.

The two I've seen around here have been driven by men, so I don't associate it as a chick car. You do have to be careful with VW's realibility though
