You are a moron if you think you can walk into a 7-11, pick up a drink in the fridge section and walk out with the vitamins you need for the day. I am stunned by the lack of common sense people display when it comes to their health and diet...stunned.

They sell apple juice at the 7-11... that's got like 150% vitamin C.

But yeah, OP, eat some vegetables.

Drink "water water." It comes from the faucet.

Then, eat fvcking food.

BAM, you got your vitamins!

(note: by "food" I mean actual food, like veggies, meats, breads, cheese, fruits, not that shit that comes in a box!)

Wut wut V-Wat is mad tasty yo!

I take the "Energy" one as a workout drink as it has some caffeine and sugar to power through. :p
for the amount of calories/sugar it has in it, I'd be a lot more inclined to drink a bottle of snapple or OJ.

About 100 calories, which you can shed in about 5 or 10 minutes on the treadmill. Those 100 calories help a lot when your groggy trying to squat though.

You know guys, he's asking a legitimate question about a common misconception which he is not claiming to be an expert about.

Maybe calling him a moron and flaming idiot is a little counterproductive.

Just saying.

I know this has already been pointed out, but yes, Vitamin Water is not very good for you. It's basically sugar water with a tiny amount of synthetic vitamins added in. Tasty, yes. But for real vitamins look elsewhere.

So, anyone recommend a good multivitamin? I don't eat a lot (low metabolism + thin) so it's actually hard for me to get a well rounded diet in a day. Planning on taking a multivitamin as a just incase. Already take vitamin D (50000 IU) once a month for a deficiency, but doctor said it'd be fine to take a multivitamin on top of that.

Vitamin water only has just enough "vitamins" to qualify the title. There is not nearly as much in there as there is in a supplemental tab.

Not to mention, vitamin supplementation is rarely required (though sensible to take because there are no downsides in common dosages). Ditch the vitamin water, pick up daily supplemental multi vitamin, and perhaps some additional iron supplements and you'll be more than okay (and it's cheaper in the long run).

Supplements won't correct a serious deficiency in a persons diet. They're only meant to be a little extra in case you MIGHT be lacking. This goes for most supplements on the market.

Any multivitamin will do, really. Personally, I take AST 32x MultiPro. Though, most people won't be too happy with these vits as they're giant horse pills and it's recommended to take 2x a day (which is hugely in excess of most vitamins).

Take whatever's cheapest. In this case, it more than likely doesn't make a different.

Also, unless you have a GNC gold card, you're probably best just buying from a drug store, as the prices will usually be more forgiving.

Ultimately, as I've stated, it's hardly worth taking for the average person. If you're going to supplement anything (assuming you at least exercise occasionally), it would be preferable to take Creatine (I'm not going to get into a discussion about that. Actually, I might, but don't encourage me).

Eat good, feel good.
