Are there any real benefits to either one? Is either better domestically versus internationally? Which one is more widely accepted?

Nothing that I'm aware of which has no annual fee. The Citi Dividend Platinum select remains my favorite cc.
Just received a $120 check from them5% cash back on gas, groceries and drugs sure is nice
