okay so i have a question.

most people define being a virgin as never having had sex. this i'm down with...

but some people say that oral sex counts as "sex", and i can understand where they're coming from, after all, it does have the word sex in it.

but then, if you've only had oral sex, but not regular intercourse, are you still a virgin?

I'd say yes you still are, some people might disagree but strictly textbook version I would imagine you need actual sex to happen to lose virginity.

Bill Clinton stayed in office on that presumption.

Having an orgasm in the presence of someone else, does not constitute losing one's virginity.

I think the "old skool" definition of virginity (at least for a female) would be still having the hymen intact.

Although, that isn't a very practical definition because the hymen can be broke pre-intercourse and can also remain intact post-intercourse. Pretty much the rule of thumb is no vaginal intercourse = still a virgin.

From there it just depends on personal morals.

<< anal sex == virgin? >>

There's actually an entire web site devoted to that.

:Q

I won't post the link, but it's pretty damn funny.

<< thanks guys, guess it was just wishful thinking :D >>

Wishful thinking?
(Oral_sex != lost_virginity) && (Oral_sex == woohoo)

sounds good to me.

yea but...

using namespace society;

if (gender == male && virgin == true){
return bad;
}
else if{
return good;
}

and i think that both lose virginity.... at least that's how it is nowadays

lol your point being?

Anyway gopunk, who cares what society thinks? If you're 35, single and a virgin then there's probably a problem, but I'm content to stay a virgin for a while longer. Oral sex would make that easier. ;)

IMO, oral sex is sex, or why else would they call it that? I know I am taking a more conservative approach, but I have my reasons.

Case in point, here's a joke:

An old man and an old woman are sitting in their living room together.
They have been married for 40 years.
Suddenly, the old man stops reading the paper, gets up, and walks over his old wife who is knitting.
Without saying a word, the old man hits his old wife as hard as he can.
The old woman asks, "what the heck was that for?"
The old man replies, "that's for 40 years of bad sex."
The old man walks away, and the old woman gets up from her chair.
She grabs a hammer sitting near the fireplace and walks up to her husband.
As hard as she can, she hits her husband with the hammer.
The old man asks, "what the heck was that for?"
The old woman replies, "that's for knowing the difference."

Ok what about girls who like girls. If they have never had sex in the traditional way, but have used "toys". Would they still be virgins?

Actually, virginity is such a meaningless concept to me. By your definition, a girl who has appeared in a 100 oral/anal gangbang videos is still a virgin.

Who is more chaste? A "virgin" woman who has appeared in 100 oral/anal gangbang videos? Or a "non-virgin" woman who only has intercourse with men she has loved?

If oral and anal sex is not sex -- then why not do it with your sister? It should be okay since it's not sex.
