I assume this question came up when the bush campaign was pushing for regime change in Iraq as well or did you just shut up and support the president?

I'm sure the Bush Administration is a little more knowledgeable than you when it comes to Iraqi affairs... not that that would take much.
Baghdad poll: Ousting Saddam 'worth it'
Almost two-thirds of Baghdad residents polled said they believed ousting Saddam Hussein was worth the hardships they have suffered in the months since the fall of the Iraqi capital, according to a new Gallup poll.

So? Saddam was reelected with 100% of the vote. When someone has tanks rolling up and down your street you tend to say what they want you to say, even still 1/3 felt it wasn't worth it.

That's a funny thing to say coming from someone who keeps changing their stance. (see post a few above)

Facts don't matter when they are mutually exclusive, doesn't take much brains to figure that out.
100% of the population voted to reelect him, but after the invasion and foreign military at their door 2/3 say it was worth getting rid of Saddam? Something is wrong here and I trust official national election results more than some cable news poll.

Actually, Gaard... if yoy look back, you will see that I didn't change my stance. I made a mispost and then corrected myself. However, I already explained that in another thread. Perhaps I should post some of your "mis-posts" as well? As for your comment above, how did I change my stance again? Oh, I didn't. If Saddam Hussein had complied with 1441, he could have prevented the war. 1441 is not the only reason we went to war, but it was, and remains to be, the biggest reason. We don't need any other reason to go to war other than the fact that Saddam didn't comply with 1441. The other reasons are just icing on the cake, my friend.

You sure do make a lot of mis-posts, Dan. Do you get your reason de jour from Hannity or Limbaugh, both of whom are linked to from your website.![]()

"a mispost"? Is that like saying you "mispoke"?

You do realize that they HAD to vote for Saddam or they would be killed, right? I haven't heard too many reports about Gallop poll workers forcing Iraqis to vote in favor of the U.S. (which is enforced by the fact that approximately 1/3 of Iraqis said that they thought conditions were not better).

Must be true since fox news says so right?
Unless you got proof of someone being shot in the head right after casting a No for Saddam ballot, I suggest you stop spreading false propaganda.
