I'm 99% sure I'm doing these right (no arch in my back, my upper shoulders don't move backward as I press up, and the bar ends up over the back part of my head), but I doesn't hurt to make sure. I also want to go up in weight, and want to make sure my form stays perfect).

Also...be on the lookout for Scootermaster's Comepletely Effed Up Workout Journal (SCEUPJ), coming soon to an H and F forum near you!

Military press is strictest form of press.
Push press is different from normal press.

The way I understand it is:

Press (aka overhead press): Knees locked, feet ~shoulder width apart, can stagger a bit if you want
Push press: Use knee drive to assist pushing the weight up
Military press: Same as press but heels together stance

Is this right?

I think a lot of people refer to OH press as military press. I've never understood the advantage of strictly pressing overhead with narrow stance, so I don't do millies.
