I noticed I could go above my reported tab count, but windows would stop responding without crashing.

Also it seems tabs are easier to do than straight windows, and Chrome uses a lot of memory for each window (comparatively).

35 chickens and took a screenshot. Kept playing chicken with chickens and crashed at 41.

Challenge accepted. Really working my 2 1/2 year mobile chip hard as you can see, at that rate I could only get 40 tabs open before it ran out of juice......

40 instances of chicken bench with Fire Fox on a laptop is crazy!
I could only get 5 on my desktop.
maybe we can isolate the cause and see if its
cpu, hard drive, dsl/cable speed or os.



I am on a q9550 with a wd black 500gb from 09 & vista sp1 on 16mb dsl.

60 total running plus running FLStudio, only had a total of 3 underruns while opening all of those instances. Pretty darn good.
