she could just as easily charge him with harassment and state that she protected herself from more harassment. she warned him and he continued.

the white guy CLEARLY started the entire thing. he should have just waited like a normal person instead of being a dickhead. and, when he was a dickhead and was called out on it, he should have apologized and said he thought she was done. instead, he was being a bigger dick to her and the black chick decided to take her sweet-ass time to teach him a lesson in patience (which was wrong of her to do).

given the scenario, if i were on the jury and her defense was that he was harassing her and she felt threatened and warned him to stop carrying on, i would definitely find her not guilty.


EDIT: if the races were reversed, would you people SERIOUSLY feel the same way? if it was a white woman being antagonized by a taller black man and the white woman maced the black man after she warned him to stop harassing her, would you feel any differently? my guess is, yes, you would, but you wouldn't admit to it.
 
she's an asshole and he's a smartass. It takes two to tango, he could have defused the situation by just asking nicely at first and shutting up after seeing she's an arrogant pleb. But they were both plebs and this is the result.
She was purposefully taking her time but his trolling was dangerous, you don't do that with people you don't know. What if she was a psycho with aids syringers?

Why was this man "entitled" to cut in front of woman after waiting 10 sec in light of clerk telling him to get back in line???

What gave him the impression he was better then her?

She looked confused at what she was doing and he felt that he had a quick, easy order to take care of. All he wanted was a pack of cigarettes.

She spoke up and he even commented on that she seemed not sure about what she wanted. Then they just mess with each other while she deliberately takes her time, which she can't take a joke at all.

The mace would be considered assault and he could have her arrested.
 
I would have just let him get his pack. It would be the courteous thing to do.

I probably wouldn't have cut ahead in line, but I would have been more annoyed by waiting on her, than I would have been annoyed by someone else cutting ahead of me, when I'm not getting anywhere with my order.

Those of you, that would object to either behavior should take some courses in common courtesy. An effective society is based on mutual respect. Something both of these lack.

But, honestly, if I had been in line behind her, and she would have pulled that stunt, I would have had a hard time not to double over in laughter either. Her behavior is ridiculous in so many ways, it's just unbearable. He was merely discourteous.

Hope she gets 6 months jail and a few hundred dollars in damages. This is a criminal matter, so it gets prosecuted regardless of whether he sues her or not, as long as anyone files charges.

LOL at "harassment".

And, she was standing at that counter a full 20 seconds. The video starts with her at the counter, on her phone. That alone is totally inappropriate and rude to everyone around her.

She then finishes her phone call in front of the clerk, while fumbling around still not knowing WTF she's doing.

A full 20 seconds into the video is when the guy finally decides F it and orders his stuff.

He then laughs at her when she acts like an uncultured rude idiot.


I don't understand how race has ANYTHING to do with this. The race brigadiers are here in full force trying to twist this into something it isn't...
 
reminds me of a woman who was in front of me at the register of a local gas station who didn't have enough money to pay for what she wanted. after figuring out what to remove from her purchase she then pulled some "you mischarged me" BS with the cashier. he then signaled me over to the other register (which he manned) and i made my purchase while the attentant and woman cursed each other out.

You rude jerk. You are supposed to stand there and wait with your head down while she spends who knows how long dealing with her personal issues.

Plus, you basically just confronted her with that type of disrespect. Lucky she didn't shoot you, as many here would support such a thing.

All I had to see was the first 30 sec to know this guy was in the wrong. His important ass couldn't wait 10 sec before cutting in front of someone? In his mind, the white man (since you went there) is entitled and her position in line doesn't matter. While technically an assault I don't blame her for getting in his face.

Reminds me 10 years ago I was in line waiting to approach a counter in store and some white woman cut my mother off. Her response while not involving mace was not plesant. She was basically not going take getting disrespected by white people.

BTW - If we change the characters of the story to 65 yr old white woman at counter and 18 yr old black male, your response would have been different.

no it wouldn't, and race has absolutely nothing to do with my response. there is nothing racist or racial in the video at all.

as i just posted, not sure why everyone is bringing race into this at all.

the real people who have racial issues here are the ones who are associating the words "thug" and "ghetto" with specific races.

Why are people even making this a racial issue? Doesn't matter what color the people were, the whole thing was retarded. The lady had a poor attitude in general and was way more confrontational than the guy was. Guy said nothing threatening, was basically making light of the situation and how petty the woman was being. If the woman just shut up and finished her order, nothing would have happened, but she had to make a show of ordering a ton of muffins to intentionally piss the guy off. Guy doesn't get pissed, finds the whole situation ridiculous. Lady gets pissed off that her passive aggressiveness wasn't having the desired outcome, so she tries to escalate it physically by getting in the guys face. That doesn't provoke him, so she sprays him for no reason. Don't care what color/gender/race/etc.

Instead of antagonizing her, I would've just left. I don't typically confront people in these situations, that's the register jockey's job. 3.5 minutes, leave my items on the counter and walk out. You just lost a sale because of a retarded customer.
