Hope this is right place to ask, if not please move this. I search and search but can't find a definite answer anywhere, so this my last try.
I wonder is it possible to connect a VCR's output (video signal, that yellow cable) to a messenger's webcam (say MSN's webcam)?
So for example, I can send the signal of whatever is playing on my VCR, to my messenger program's video window, so the other party can see the video?
I wonder if it can be done at all, so far it seems it is not possible, because messenger programs need a USB type device to select as camera. I got a Nvidia 7800 video card, and it seems to have video in, but there is no way to connect it to webcam.
BTW I am not trying to pirate TV programs to others, because honestly the video quality on webcam is pretty bad anyway (if I really want to, I could have record the video via my home DVD recorder, and rip it...but that is not what I want to do). I just want to connect a video output (like home video camera) to messenger program's Webcam.
Thanks in advance
