"Smooth," relentless, calculating. The fat pig had his act down pat. Of course, there will still be a small minority of posters here who will focus on the woman and say she flirted back enough that it's all her fault. 🙁
I didn't watch the whole thing, but that woman was clearly flirting with him. Her closeness was inappropriate, her touching him was inappropriate. She is clearly trying to use her sexuality to get a sale. This video doesn't help this women's case.
You didn't watch the whole video? Ok
Some people are just more touchy/feeling than others and that is cultural as well in some cases. My wife is latina and she is very touchy feely when she talks but it's not in a sexual way. The way she did a pat on his shoulder like that wasn't sexual in nature IMO, not anything like the way he was rubbing her shoulder back and forth or putting his hand up her dress. She says "Data's so hott" and touches his shoulder. Wtf? I Think dating is a dance at times. Society expects guys to be the pursuers, so guys pursue and take steps with whatever nonverbal cues they get from the other party (touching, entering your personal space, bringing up sex, etc. etc.). And I'm sorry, she crossed the line in trying to pitch her product. I'm not saying that means she should have been raped, I am saying though that most men would haven taken her cues to mean it was appropriate to move to the next level; invite her on a date.

And, right on time, here we go. Some posters still don't understand the power dynamic at play here: "You flatter me and "flirt" and I may just give you this big contract."Of course, there will still be a small minority of posters here who will focus on the woman and say she flirted back enough that it's all her fault. 🙁

You still don't (wish to) understand the power dynamic at play here.Simple question. Did you watch that video and did you find her behavior appropriate?
You still don't (wish to) understand the power dynamic at play here.
So, I have a simple question for you: Many Jews worked as sondercommandos in the concentration camps, supporting their genocidal Nazi masters.
![]()
Do you find their behavior appropriate?
Nevertheless, I made my effing point.
But you didn't answer my question, which was my answer to your question, and goes to the heart of this matter, which is that context is important. In the prevailing power dynamic, she had to pretend to flirt or she would never have gotten any goddamn business. But, yeah, go ahead, blindly blame her.
So, now, answer my question: Was the sondercommandos' behavior . . . appropriate?
Or was it, given the constraints of their situation, as humanly understandable as her behavior was?
^^^ Ridiculously unbalanced "false equivalency."But I'm still uncomfortable with people trading their sexuality for come ups as I am also uncomfortable with men using their Power to garner sexual favors.

Are you "still uncomfortable" with the Jews who accepted their sondercommando posts that assisted the Nazi genocide within the camps as you are "also uncomfortable" with the Nazis themselves?
Wake up and smell the power dynamic, man, from your safe seat as a white male in the business hierarchy.
