Obligatory "Yeah, but it can't handle the twisties" post.

BTW, how many "twisties" races have you seen compared to this type?

A hairy cam. Not a very fair race if that Supra was stock.

A supra would have to be crazily modified(to the point that its no longer a supra) to go against that camaro and win.

Not that I know much about cars or that camaro.
But if the car needed drag slicks that big and had such advanced cams that made the engine sound like that at idle(I bet idle for that thing is around 1200rpms). I'm willing to bet that the camaro had nitrous and or some sort of supercharger.

However I would rather have that supra because I doubt that camaro is street legal or even driveable.

Isn't that the point to having a Supra?

a friend of mine used to build street drag camaro's (non-nitrus, he just tweaked transmissions and beefed up 350's) most would hit 4.8, some would get to 4.6.

the supra's 5.1s is the turbo 5speed manual, driven by professionals. non-turbo is 6.5s start from there and go up for people who don't drive professionally.

I agree. Except for the fact I would rather have the camaro.

No. That's the point of owning the Camaro
