[Rant]I got a charge on my bill for a collect call billed through ILD Teleservices. My wife accepted the call from her son but there was no mention that the charge was $7 a minute! This from a phone about 18 miles away. She accepted the call, so we'll pay.
After doing some research on this bunch of crooks, I desired to remove third party billing from my phone bill. I call Verizon and was on hold for nearly 40 minutes before I finally hung up and ripped them off a scathing email through their website. What a sorry excuse for a communications company they are.
I signed up for paperless billing over three years ago. They are supposed to send me an email telling me when my bill is available and in that amount of time, I have received said email about 6 times. I guess it's just too hard for them to figure out. This means I must navigate their website to see my bill.
Now I had a boss one time whose desk was a swirling mass of paper, folders, food and sticky notes that would have to be seen to be believed. Even he couldn't find anything, including his phone. He must be working for Verizon and doing their website now, because I have never seen anything to rival it anywhere. It is an un-navigable mess that is constantly getting changed for the worse. I have to re-learn it every month.
What a sorry excuse for a phone company they are. [End Rant]
