I know nobody has a ninja assasin working within the layer's of Bethesda and even if you did, would you even give me such top secret information for free? And I know Bethesda said they'll release the patch in January. But I was expecting January 1st! I want the mod kit now! And I'm tired of checking daily, I want a daily update by Bethesda of exactly what they're doing! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Maybe they took an arrow to the knee?

Yeah, I know - that was played out and terrible.

Stop whining like a little kid. When it is ready they will release it.

Easy Skott, the title says venting- I know you're just working hard towards 5000 "valuable" posts

I thought the post was made in a light hearted way so I responded in like. I probably should have put a little smiley face in there to show I was responding in same. And for the record I don't look at my post counts or aim for a number. I just post when moved to do so.

Probably you`ll have to wait for patch 1.5,you know,to fix problems in 1.4...

I actually don't want anymore Bethesda updates (other than the release of the CK). They end up breaking existing mods which then have to be re-updated.

My apologizes Skott

Ya I really don't care about the update, I feel like most of the update is for the PS3. I played through the game on my buddies PC but then I built my little piece of heaven and want to play through it again but with some mods! So I can have my custom house to retire to every night after dragon slaying etc.

Isn't Skyrim's 1.4 patch the one taking it to version 1.3.10 from 1.3.7?

Still a stupid naming convention, should have been the 1.3b patch. I also desire the CK, so many new things waiting to be explored once it's out.

You were expecting a new patch on January 1st?

I'm certain that they were on vacation on Jan. 1st, and they might still be on vacation right now, who knows. If not then they've surely started working on the next patch. I'm pretty sure that we'll get a new patch this month anyway, or perhaps early in February at the latest.

I finally found out the origin of that meme; a piece of random throwaway dialogue by a random NPC. Not sure why people found it so funny.

I'm still playing 1.1, and have had 2 crashes and no other issues after over 150 hours.

I have not had any game breaking glitches with Skyrim. I beat most of the game in the first few days of it being out too.

I am however working on finishing all the achivements and I am definetly looking forward to the first of the DLC!

Yeah, I like when I get my skills up and they start commenting on that instead.

"Why dont you conjure me a warm bed?"

yeah, those are funny. My favorite random one is probably the "I hear Hammerfell soldiers use curved swords. curved. swords!"

I wonder if the arrow one was tuned down in one of the patches because of the explosion of that stupid meme?

I was probably 30 or so hours in, and my 3rd unlocked City (Winterhold--after Whiterun and Windhelm), before I heard a guard say it.

let' see...127 hours in, only just unlocked Solitude in that 127th hour, haven't unlocked the Morlath city or whatever, have played main quest up until it first sends me to Solitude.

I'm easily distracted, lol.

I heard it first time I got near Whiterun, early on in the game. It was funny only once. The next 50 times it was annoying.

The guy who really needs to die is the one in Markarth... "Have you seen anyone enter this house?" or something like that. Unlike most of the NPCs his convo grabs you as you walk by, and you have to answer him at least once and then tab out.

Something funny... there's a little girl in... Whiterun, I think. She always says "I'm not afraid of you, even though you're my elder!" Once she actually followed me into Breezehome to complete her statement. Last night she said it once too often and I turned around and laid a mailed fist up alongside her head. She ran up the street a little bit then turned around and said "Hmm, didn't think you had it in you."

I reloaded to clear the +40 Whiterun bounty.

LOL, the Gamebryo engine had to be the buggiest video game engine ever invented. Its not that Bethesda doesn't know what they're doing, but asking for an open world engine to do everything but somersaults without being buggy is just insane. You might as well insist fish gotta fly and birds gotta swim.

Ya I blasted through the main quest and the rebellion with a battle mage. Now Im really challenging myself. I have the difficulty turned all the way up, crosshairs turned off, playing a stealth archer. Took me a awhile to get my first kill on a human, but never so rewarding. Add the mod that makes dragons way stronger and you go from just a hack em' / slash em' to a real adventure, I love it.
