Word is ICE has already deported Maduro and his wife back to Venezuela.

On a more serious note this went way, way too smooth. This might be a world record speed run on regime change if Maduro wasn't in on it himself (or his people gave him up.)

A wholly illegal action that surely won't have any negative repercussions especially in VZ itself and adjacent countries as the Trump admin has the steady focused hand that's needed to prevent the nation from collapsing into chaos.

Next up: Cuba. Possibly Colombia.

I'd be floored if we're not at war with Iran in the next months.

"Success" here will probably fuel their appetite for more, riskier interventions. Especially as the political mood darkens domestically.
Had to edit my post as on second thought six months sounds like way too long a period. Maybe more like the next month or two.

The venezuelian government is still in place, so that s a total failure for the criminal in charge of the US, beside Russia is delighted, since international law doesnt count they can keep waging their war in Ukraine, why should they bother for laws that do not exist..?

Oh well.

Let’s get those gas prices down.

Like I said, our government is WWE, entertainment at this point. Treat it as such.

They will now.

The state of VZ's assets is beyond deplorable. Tens of billions would need to be invested to increase output beyond what is presently possible. In a country with a history of nationalization and that has prospects for massive ongoing unrest. Trump literally asked the execs and to a man they said "No thanks". Why possibly go through the trouble and expense when you can just frack in the high $50s in the Permian? The oil price needed to support this is much higher.

They will now.
Do you watch Landman? Anyway.

It's the same problem Russia has with Ukraine picking off energy infrastructure. If production goes offline it is a hell of a job getting things up and running again.

For the US, if oil goes below a certain threshold, domestic production is no longer viable, companies goes bankrupt and the flow of crude stops... Then when prices rise again and it WOULD be profitable to pump domestic again it's going to take massive investment and a decade to get everything up and running again.

Unless Trumps plan is to shut down domestic US production for good ... Hey who the fuck knows.
