Complete amateur hour: they didn't even bother briefing the appropriate committees.

And from another post, Trump is claiming "inherent constitutional authority" to use the military as he did... why even have a Congress? We should wrap the Founding Fathers in some copper wire to generate free electricity as they roll over at ever increasing speeds in their graves. Never in their wildest dreams would they have ever thought that current House and Senate leaders (ie, Johnson and Thune) would give up their core powers for a lawless executive.

Edit:
"The other post":
Mike Lee might just be the most detestable US Senator. Fucking bootlicker to the nines. Even probably beats Cruz to that dishonor.

They cannot even get their story straight. It was an apprehension mission but also we are taking over the country.

Definitely what the American people have been clamouring for: more regime change run by the US military. Definitely haven't had enough over the last 20 years.

Trump can't run America without historically bad approvals so I guess like a failing hotelier he's moving on to other ventures.

Of course they can't keep the story straight. Dementia Don is 30 seconds from telling us about why he tied an onion to his belt, because that was the style at the time. He's literally dying before our eyes and the media is largely silent on the obvious (can't wait for the stories to come out about how they all knew...).

The US is now a rouge state.
Ok this is like the third or fourth time I’ve seen this posted today.

The US is a ROGUE state not a ROUGE state.

ROGUE: denoting a person or thing that behaves in an aberrant or unpredictable way, typically with damaging or dangerous effects.

ROUGE:
  1. a red powder or cream used as a cosmetic for coloring the cheeks or lips.
  2. French for Red

Psst, you may want to bump those numbers there.
Iraq was 23 years ago.

Also, that there was an even bigger second strike that probably maybe might not even be necessary now.

If we got the indicted co-conspirators already, why a second strike?

When it happens there are going to be an avalanche of stories about how they all knew it was happening because they saw and talked to people about his decline for the last year or whatever. That his advisors openly maneuvered a doddering old man into actions that served their own narrow or personal interests and broke US law in the process.
