I'd say this is a "why not both" scenario. I see no one has mentioned the several Christian churches bombed in the last 24 hours on a holy day with high church attendance.
Targeted attack.
Specific.

I wonder how the progressives will wave it away?

It's shitty and those accountable need to punished. Since all we hear though is that Muslims do nothing about it ISIS or other radical organizations it was interesting to hear the leader of a Muslim country pledge to hunt them down. Or will you wave that away?

We... won't? It's horrible, it's obviously fueled by religious hatred.

What we won't do is use this as a pretext for what you so desperately want: outright religious discrimination. Muslims are still complex, varied human beings, and lumping 1.7 billion people in with extremists is the simplistic coward's way of doing things.

Thats not the complaint here. The complaint is that the media world-wide is trying desperately to cover up muslims when they do awful things and even go so far as to mince words AFTER we already know it was muslims. The whole point of NEWS is to fucking INFORM people. If all you are gonna do is lie you may as well just post a satire notice at the top of your damn page.

Which explains why this story is VIRAL all over the internet with every news source covering it in salacious detail. More people were murdered in Chicago in the last week than died in this incident with not a shred of national or international press coverage.

Everybody is well informed about the approximate number of deaths in Chicago though. It is nothing NEW(S).

...except when the "religion" in question is also a complete political/military/legal system designed for world domination from top to bottom. They're not extremists, they're just doing exactly what doctrine tells them to do, with the full support of the vast majority of their fellows even if the others don't have the stomach to actually do the killing themselves.
Call 'em "sympathizers". They're actively assisting and hiding the perpetrators (and cheering their efforts.)

Very, very few muslims have been brave enough to challenge the doctrines they follow and call for reform. They are rewarded for it by death threats from their world, and utter contempt from Progressives like yourself. Think Ezra Levant, etc.

I'm actually intrigued by that one... got a link?

The "full support of the vast majority of their fellows?" Bullshit. Absolute bullshit. You have no evidence, and it's technically impossible to get that evidence. What did you supposedly learn just days ago about using unsupported claims?

Also, it's hilarious how you will insist that you're not bigoted, but you've just declared that every Muslim on Earth wants all non-Muslims dead, and thus that every Muslim is a serious threat that must be eradicated. That's bigotry in a nutshell, even if you're too scared to be honest with yourself.

Also bullshit: claiming that people like me show contempt for people who call for reform. Ever hear of Mona Eltahawy? She's a prominent advocate for sexual liberation in Muslim culture. I think that's wonderful. But here's the thing: there's a difference between advocating for cultural reform and suppressing that culture. It's great to make Muslim women comfortable with removing the hijab, for example, but it's purely spiteful to ban wearing the hijab. That's just religious oppression from the other side of the coin.

Just a PSA that finding yourself reliably on the side of this den of winners is pretty good indicator that history won't remember you fondly:

Good news everyone! The website dedicated to logging all moslem attacks worldwide has not attributed this attack to moslems (yet)!

In the last 30 days:

This one isn't listed, though, so lay off the hate! Not all moslems!

Worth noting your peer AnonymouseUser et al is quite the fan of brown/"moslem" genocide and whatnot, not that this sort of thing slows degenerates down.

Oh no, the moronic fail troll will pull out multiple accusations. I am still waiting for any shreds of evidence about his accusations of SNC, momeNt, glracer, just to name a few. And of course, his usual "you are soooooo rrrrrrrrraaaaaacccccccciiiiiiiissssssssst" race card without any solid evidences. LOL.

Fail troll is fail.

No great mystery which ideological stable people who call blacks chimps & other racial epithets all belong to.

I'm sure your friends appreciate the company. Absolute gold when degenerates' stupidity works against them.

Speaking of stupidity, look how I took this fool to school when he spoke about thing that he had no freaking clue = https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/high-chance-of-china-taiwan-war.2499383/#post-38743019

Absolute comedy gold indeed. You = pwned so hard by me. You are welcome, again. :D

Keep pulling the race card because that is the only thing you are capable of.

Just be sure to post enough white nationalism in these threads so it's clear who your supportive peers are.

Oh no, it's been updated and now includes the Sweden incident:

In the last 30 days:

During this time period, there were 154 Islamic attacks in 23 countries, in which 1170 people were killed and 1351 injured.

Hmm, hardly makes a dent. I mean, it's not like the total killed went from 0 to 4, it actually increased by more than 100...

OTOH the reigh-wing love it when christians or such kill people, particularly brown ones. Keep in mind your previous comment history is archived.

When they don't know exactly who did it and why, it's not a "cover up." It's called good journalism -- don't say what you don't know.

And where are the lies here, exactly? I haven't seen any. It seems to me that you're swinging too far in the other direction -- you want the media to shout "MUSLIM TERRORIST" at the drop of a hat, to make the entire religion collectively guilty for the actions of extremists. Good reporting means delving into the specifics, and those are less exciting than slapping someone with a broad label.

Here's a question: would you be comfortable if we used the label "Christian terrorist" every time there's a violent act in the name of the anti-abortion movement, every time someone threatens to blow up a mosque or synagogue, or every time a Trump supporter attacks someone who's even vaguely Middle Eastern-looking? I suspect not -- you'd say that they're not really representative of Christians as a whole, that most Christians are peaceful and that it'd be unfair to tarnish the entire religion for the acts of a few. Gee, sounds familiar...

Where is the line drawn though when all those things you just mention predominatly come from Christians? I mean sure its not the majority of Christian people, but the majority of said incidents are done by Christians. Its called profiling and its human nature to draw those conclusion about things you see. It doesnt mean you are 100% right all the time, but it does help a lot and is right most of the time. It is a slippery slope, but to not draw these conclusions because its not PC is doing a disservice to reason, logic and humanity as well as not addressing the actual problem because of feels.
