Distribution transformers are often oil cooled. You've seen 'em - the big green things often behind office buildings, stores and other buildings, sometimes surrounded by wire fencing. The entire wire transformer core is immersed in oil. These beasts run in the thousands to millions of volt-amps (KVA, MVA). They can easily run at 55 to 65 degrees C above the ambient temperature.
I suspect some of the "cans" you see on utility poles may be oil filled too, at least the inductor banks; dunno about capacitor banks.
