What is your opinion of vegans? I am wondering because from what I have seen most people don't understand why some/most people are vegans.
I just decided to go vegan, after realizing/seeing what goes on in the factory farms (some may say those are lies, etc). I would still eat, say, a fish if I caught it myself (so you could say I am not vegan, but the fact is, I never go fishing). I am not completely against eating meat, but the fact is, I couldn't kill a cow myself. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to do it. I understand that "we are the stronger species, top of the food chain, etc" but is that any justification to the inhumane way we "process" animals for food? I think not. I can't eat meat that has been processed that way, knowing what goes on. It makes me sick.
Flame on if you wish.
