When did Trump ban black people from public accommodations?
Yeah as you can see from that link they used to mark rental applications from black peoples with a ‘C’ for ‘colored’ so they knew not to rent to them.

Trump is consistent on almost nothing but one of the few things he is totally consistent on is his lifetime racism. He really, genuinely does not like nonwhite people.

Well I mean if he’s not voting for Trump then he’s not ‘keeping voting for him’

Sure, twice is “keep voting for him” until Tuesday ;).

And I’m not inclined to believe a word a two time Trump voter says. You’re of course welcome to believe mr. Secret reasons

I mean sure he could be lying but I don’t see any particular reason to think he is.

@pcgeek11 displays the quintessential cultist mindset.

In order to justify his position Trump isn’t racist he has to also admit banning black people from public accommodations also isn’t racist

That leaves open only 2 choices. Brainwashed or either @pcgeek11 is as racist as Trump.

I doubt there is a third choice? Any takers?
The thing I dont understand about someone like pcgeek is his capacity to rationalize the bone spurs draft dodging, disdain for military service men from McCain to Generals to the losers and suckers that be foot soldiers, admiration of past dictators like Adolf and kin... You would think that someone that has dedicated his life to service would have objection to these character traits.

He was able to lie to himself to vote for trump twice, I don’t see lying about this as a big hurdle. His reasons are his own, you know…secrets, but welcome to share. I wouldn’t admit to voting for trump around here either lol.

I guess, and I find the whole ‘it’s a secret’ thing annoying too. That being said if you’re going to assume he’s always lying then there’s no point in talking to him.

Ask the conservatives too many questions, and they'll just put you on ignore. They don't want a healthy discussion. They are pushing an agenda, and will put blinders on, so they don't have to see inconvenient things like facts that completely invalidates their lies.

I don’t recall saying I think he’s always lying. I think there’s certain topics, like politics here, that he shows a pattern of dishonesty about. I’m not inclined to believe there's sincerity in the same way I don’t think there’s sincerity or honesty in topics like border security, immigrant labor, women’s rights, etc…

They ( meaning not just Trump ) used to do a LOT of things that were racist.
We have come a long way since that point in history.

Biden is or was no different back in those long ago days.

While I agree that people were more racist in the past than they are now, Biden is quite different. I’m not saying he didn’t harbor racist views but Trump’s racism is far above what was normal even for that time.

For example we have documented evidence of not only racist rental policies but Trump also saying things like how he didn’t want black people managing his money and instead needed Jews for that.

I can go on and on about this. There’s just so many examples. Also, Biden has by all indications improved in this respect while Trump is still screaming about how demanding innocent black men be executed was actually right.

They have mastered the art of selective sensory aversion because really, who would ever want to strip nekkid in front of the whole world and get a peek at what was billed as a whopping ding dong'ed stallion turning out to be a squeaky cowardly gelding of a party propped up by uber rich stable masters.

This the whole premise of the Republican party. They say they are the guardians of the nation while they are busy gutting it from the inside out. They say they are the party of law and order while they corrupt the highest court of the land.

They say a lot of things to cover up what they're actually doing to dismantle our democracy because our democratic principles aren't working out in their favor. They see the writing on the wall and it spurs them into refashioning our system of gov't where the can rule the nation from a minority part status at the least on up to Project 2025 status where the whole system of gov't is turned into a system of indentured loyalty to a fascist authoritarian autocrat.

An inability to admit to being wrong about powerfully inculcated moral values, the deeply held belief that being wrong isn’t just the result of having never had any early exposure to wisdom, but that if you are wrong you will be condemned as being evil. This is why the left and the right call each other garbage. We were all made to believe stupid shit the same way.

Trump is still shows his racists views

The whole Kamala is now black thing. Is just weird. To me he was signaling to other racists that she is black

The Central Park 5 comment in the debate that they were guilty and the fact he ran a full page ad in a newspaper about it years ago..Really black men who where exonerated and won a 40 million ish lawsuit against the state.

For lack of a better term “he still has it”

To be completely honest about it I have never heard of or seen Tony Hinchcliffe before I read this thread.

Ooo fair point! and this isn't unreasonable because he's really not that well known outside of comedy fans (though his show is quite massively popular...again among the fans).

and see: that's my point. You're making straight assertions over a thing when you don't even know what you are talking about. You don't even know the guy, you don't know his connection to MAGATs and how they have been lobbying to literally have him speak for them; yet you are very certain that he isn't speaking for them at all.

....why do you do this? I appreciate that you finally admit one thing: you don't know what you're talking about here--but can you connect the final dot to this puzzle? We are making progress, I think! :D

When did Biden discriminate against black people? He has said some wrongheaded old white guy stuff but his gaffs are a 1 compared to banning black people from a public accommodation.

You are either in agreement with Trump or in complete denial. Yes, some people have changed but there is ZERO evidence Trump has changed. As recently as 2016 he said a federal judge is incapable of doing his job because he is Mexican. Not only was it a racist thing to say but it was inaccurate. Judge Curiel was born in Indiana.

The country was moving in a positive direction when Obama was elected. Racism didn't go away but was rendered dormant because it was so unacceptable to be openly racist. We whiplashed to Trump in 2016 who gave his people express permission to be overt bigots. Someone who has really changed does not invite white nationalists to his house for dinner if you are representing the entire country. His response to the innocence to the Central Park 5 is more evidence he has not changed.

Some of us don't want a racist asshole in the Oval Office. Clearly you are cool with it.
