I have, seen a few ending sequences. They all have extensive battle portions, where the game is at its weakest, but the actual conclusions were cool.

My favorite was the ending you get when you support the Keui Jin.

This game is one of my all time favorite games, it's buggy, the patches definitely do help, and they are a must have. After you play the game yourself, once or twice, I found it just as fun to enable the console, bump up some of the experience, for more seduction, in the very beginning. You get so much more dialogue.

Hand to hand combat is weak. Up your fire arm points, is a help. Soooo much you can do. It's worth picking apart, doing as many quests as you can possibly do. The amount of detail put into the game is fantastic. Such an under rated game, it is.

Tremere is the magic based Vampire, max him/her out, and have fun, the magic of that one is fun.

It's not a Bioshock type of game if that is what you are suggesting. You build your character in the same manner you build your character in BG2 or Fallout. In fact you get XP from completing quests and not killing mobs. Combat can be FPS view or third person. Me I prefer the melee/magic route as I find it a lot more fun then just blasting stuff.

Brawling is only really good for feeding. Melee combat itself with swords, axes, sledgehammers, etc.... is pretty damn good early on and even toward the end of the game. I love the katana stealth kill animations myself. :D

There are 5 endings. Which one are you talking about ?

*Sigh* THE COFFIN.

I thought it was kind of a funny ending myself when it was opened. I know I had a nice chuckle when it happened. I liked it instead of cliched ending most people were expecting. Of course that is my opinion though. The ending you wanted would literally be the end of the IP and the game world itself.

Ohhhh you got that right, the stealth kills with the katana, I did that all the freakin time towards the end. Loved it, silent but deadly.

I even flirted with Officer Chunk, guard in LaCroix's place, and in front of the gallery. He let me in very easy to the gallery, just had to flirt with him. I was his little cupcake, muffin, guy likes to eat. :p

Here is a question what is everyones favorite ending?

I was doing stealth kills with some sort of halberd/spear thing for 95% of the game. He'd sneak up behind and jab it through the guys back/neck, lifting him into the air and then slamming him back into the ground. Was so cool.

$20 from Steam, or on CD from Amazon and GoGamer when they have it in stock. It's well worth the $20.

I did the stealth kills with my bare hands. I didn't even use a weapon for the first half of the game, then it was the Katana till the end where I think you just about have to use a gun for some of the final battles.

I did the Camarilla ending the first time, but of course I went back and did all five.

Are we talking about the same game? $100 is a bit outrageous. Didn't know this was on Steam though.

Even though the game is less than 3 years old it has become a cult classic PC game. There are some people selling on Amazon waiting for a collector to pay for these out of print titles.

I wonder how many copies of Bloodlines have been sold since Activision unceremoniously killed Troika?

Incidentally, the people paying hundreds of dollars for the game are idiots, I doubt having a CD is worth that much, and you can DL it from Steam or D2D for 20

the best stealth kill is with the sledge hammer. If you guys haven't tried it it's worth playing again for :) Can't get enough of the long whoosh followed sickening crunch.

Hmm, I bought mine from amazon in May for $19.99, looks like the price has gone up

Exactly. Ya think? It's a 3 yr old game and it's probably going to be USED in most cases, so I'm not approaching anything past $ 20. I don't even really want to pay $ 20 to be honest :D
Been looking for it on Ebay and FS/FT and on the forums for 2 months and haven't found any. And I'm one of the like 6 people in the US still on dial up so don't go spoutin' off about this D2D stuff.....

Do you trade games? i might consider that if you have a game i like ... We can have an "option" to trade back so no one "loses" anything after we are done playing.
... i played thru VtMB once and really enjoyed it - it IS the "Deus Ex of Vampire Games" - but i doubt seriously that i am going to play it again anytime soon [i have 8 current games i own to play now; about 200 hours, i calculate] i saved early enough in the storyline and got all five endings - explored thoroughly - but only played as a male Gangrel vampire. i also only had the official patch so some of it - especially near the endings - was terribly buggy. Use the community patch.
