I saw it twice in the theater, thought it was good, nothing special.

like hell... it ruled.

It didn't really catch me when I first saw it. Then I rented the DVD yesterday and realized it was pretty damn good.

Do you like 12 year old boys? Because that's what she looked like in this movie.

Saw it twice in theaters, liked it a lot, bought it yesterday and watched it.

You're free to worship cancer-skinned, cow-uddered, bleached bimbos all you want, let us like who we like for the reasons we choose.

btw, just bought my copy today. 😎

The movie was very impressive.

What was even more impressive was that Hugo Weaving did the voice acting...it was impecable.

I simply had not realzied who it was allthroughout the film, and when I saw the credits I was surprised🙂

Spoiler Alert

Definitely a good movie, but entirely unrealistic at the end. All those guys shooting at V in the end, and nobody gets a head shot? How did he make/purchase all those masks at the end without the government noticing?

Still, a fun movie to watch. For the extra bonus features, put in the secret code, "Gunpowder Plot"

Here's my take on it. The mask was bulletproof (or more likely, deflects bullets more than stops them). Not sure about the masks, but then again, it was hinted throughout that he had vast resources available to him (such as the tons of high explosives). Also, he had been planning it for 20 years. If he had a small factory producing stuff over say five years, he would not need much.

great movie - applicable to today's administration

I would say that it contains certain elements that seem to be derived both from actual events and from the er...speculation surrounding them.

I wonder if that was included in the graphic novel or if the Wachowski bros. threw a few "extra ideas" in. Anyone read the novel?

ARGGGGGGGGGGG I ACCIDENTALLY RENTED the full screen version....
i'll go back to hollywood tomorrow and try to get it replaced...

It is an effing TRAGEDY that full screen rentals are available.

I liked it. But it seemed like it was lacking something....
Maybe I was expecting more action.
But it is a very solid movie.

i need info on the best buy box set. how big are the posters? cuz if they are relatively big, I will get it, because posters are never cheap and would make it highly worth it for me. I always wanted a movie poster of V for Vendetta.
if not, i'll just pick up the basic widescreen edition, I never dwelve much into dvd extras.

Just watched last night, in the comfort of my own Home theater, complete with Papa John's pizza & cold beer. No pesky, inconsiderate, noisy, cell phone talking, chair kicking Gen Y's to ruin it. The $2.65 rental fee was a fraction of what the 4 tickets would have cost.

I knew it would be good based on the trailers, and was not disappointed.

Wouldn't put any high hopes on posters in boxsets. The folding greases alone turns me off. If you wanna get a movie poster, do it right and get the big ones from movie poster specialty shops online.

Queued on netflix....

Got mine and watched it (for the first time) last night. Excellent film.

A bit unrealistic at time, but FFS, it's a comic book (er.. *cough* graphic novel.. *cough*) movie.

Also, since it was justs released, my Netflix copy actually played all the way through without skips due to a scratched DVD! Bonus!

I saw it awhile back and while after watching it I thought it was a decent movie, the more I thought about it the more it began to stink IMO.
***Spoilers***

HTF is it OK that he goes around killing and destroying the evil government in an act of revenge against them for destroying and killing?

How is his method more justified than theirs, at that point he's just doing the same shyte he's fighting against just on a smaller scale of killing, just stinks of idealistic B.S. IMO.

But it was still an entertaining movie as far as action scenes and well acted also.
