Finally figured how to fly the levi hehe :p

flying the leviathan
This is what happens when you drop the levi: face plant
My levi scoping out the poor little power core
It's ready to fire: pre charging , fully charged , beautiful explosion , after 1 shot!!!1one
2 raptors escorting the levi :p

So, what have we learned Friday night?
Never fly your raptor into the volcano on redplanet :D
UT2K4 has beautiful sky textures
This is view from the eyes of the nuke
Don't mess with my player or she'll make you eat her footprint :p
Maybe she'll give you a headshot!
All this fun makes her tired: taking a short nap ;)

you need a super video card for that, i have a radeon 9700pro and it slows down considerably when i have all the settings on highest at 1280x1024

Can someone tell me what AA and AF are ? I know it effects performance a lot but I don't see anything resembling it in the standard settings screens. Is this something you have to mod in the .ini file ? What do they stand for ?

AA = Anti-Aliasing, helps smooth out edges so you see less "jaggies".
AF = Anisotropic Filtering, if I remember right it helps textures look better when at a distance and viewed at strange angles.

Games usually don't include these settings and must be enabled in your video card's driver settings. The higher the number (2x, 4x, 8x, etc), the higher the quality and performance hit).

even with no AA, I still think it looks badass. Besides, in game, you really don't have time to savor the beauty, or you'll be dead ;)

looked to me like he was lifting it with a couple of raptors.

If so, methinks that particular physics tweak isn't gonna last past the first patch. :p

but its not like a flying levi would be real sneaky. the thing is massive. hitting it with a shock rifle should push it off the raptor, woulnd it?

anyways, thats crazy cool.

Yeah, I have most of the in game settings to highest with a few exceptions, and 4xAA, 8xAF and it chugs at some points at 1280x1024. 9800 Pro.
