hahaha...I hear ya there. That really pisses me off. Even worse when two big truckers do it cuz then it takes 20 miles

cruise control sucks when u have a lot of hills...

also i sometimes, even in the middle of nowhere, prefer to not use cruise control if i am tired, because its much easier to daze off or start daydreaming if u dont even have to pay attention to your speed

cruise control has got to be one of the cheapest things to implement too... its amazing all cars don't come with it. of course, overseas, even the cheapest honda civics have the audio backup alert, if you're about to run into something. thats only on luxo cars here. i don't understand the US auto market

There is this awesome invention, that allows you to maintain the same speed for lengths of time. You can also slow down or speed up at the touch of a button.

Apparently, nobody in the entire Earth has heard of this invention.

The only people who don't HAVE to use it, are the people in the complete left lane of the highway. Everyone else should use their freakin cruise control.

THere is nothing that pisses me off more than cruising along at a set speed, then someone cuts out in front of me and slows down.... then when I pass at my maintained speed, they speed up..... STAY AT THE SAME SPEED! (#@$(@#*$^!@(!!!!

Were you one of the idiots that wrecked thinking that your cruise control would steer for you?

cruise control is only useful when you don't have to deal with stoplights and stop signs

i love cruise control... i dunno what the deal is with hills, because my car does fine on them.... slows down when going downhill and speeds up when going up (to maintain constant speed).

Yes.

No, I have things called Accell and Decell that speed me up and slow me down. This amazing invention is in my 1992 HONDA CIVIC (ECONOMY CAR).
I find it extremely hard to believe that cruise control is an option on newer cars...

I am the person that sits in the left lane, passing everyone else. I hate it when someone pops out in the left lane and slows way the fsck down, then I go to pass them and they speed back up. I almost always have my cruise set on the highway (between 75-80). If someone comes up behind me, I get over.

Ok.... this is turning into another type of traffic rant....

STAY AT THE SAME SPEED!

I bet that edro is one of those idiots who uses their cruise control on a daily basis when doing simple things like driving to the grocery store.

My vote is that he is one lazy ass mother fvcker.

My car has it, but MANY new cars don't. If you buy a Honda Insight or Toyota Scion, you're out of luck.

I have a brand new 2003 car...and it did not come with cruise control.
you're dumb.

Well, that narrows it down to a Neon, Kia, or Suzuki.....

Wow, you actually did that?

I always wondered if people wasted their money on that.. I would if I could only buy a car with an auto tranny.

How much did it cost?

More cars that don't have cruise control: Toyota MR2 Spyder (5-speed), Toyota Echo, Hyundai Accent, Base Saturn Ion, and the list goes on.

dear moron ranter, ;)

i have 3 vehicles,
none of the 3 have cruise control; the oldest is my 1967 Camaro,
the newest is a 1995 G20.

i can maintain my speed fairly well tho;

i know what you mean, you ever go on a 2,000 mile trip, you get people who pass you,
and then they slow down, you pass them, and its back and forth, like follow the leader. :) :(

If your vehicle slows when I get to a hill,i hit the gas harder, and if needed I downshift.

I may not be perfect, but at least i Try to be courteous on the road.

Quick question, can manuals have CC? I'm guessing no.

Anyhoo, I hate those people that match speed with the people next to them thus blocking all attemps to pass either. So what ever you do, DO NOT STAY AT THE SAME SPEED, EVAR.

Cars in my family that have CC:
'78 Mercedes 380SL(I hate this car)
'99 Dodge Ram
'02 Yukon Denali
'03 Jeep Liberty

I don't think the '04 WRX STi is gonna have it since its a 6-speed

98 VW that has CC and it is a manual, so yes manuals can have CC.
