USA vs England

Ok so my sister is thinking of moving to the United Kingdom. I need a site or a list of reasons of why America is better. Not opinions (we have Chuck Norris and WWE) I need cold hard facts, Taxes, Crime, Education, Teen Pregnancy, AIDS ect. Please Please Help

Well our government hasn't yet started putting surveillance cameras every five feet in public, yet. So we have that going for us. We don't have congestion charges for our roadways, yet or taxing our cars on how much CO2 they produce, yet.

Some good friends of ours grew up and lived in England until they were in their late 20's. Moved over here on work visa's through their employers and eventually got Green Cards. They said they'd never move back over to England because over here you can actually work hard and get rewarded. It's much harder to have the same financial freedom over there according them.

So take that tiny little anecdotal experience for what it's worth.

There's pros and cons, and who knows, maybe she'll just like it better there. Just saying America is better is pretty silly.

And WTF, AIDS? What exactly do you think is hugely different about AIDS there versus here?

Yes, London. You know, fish, chips, cup o' tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary fucking Poppins … London!

8 weeks of paid vacation for a part time employee. Can't really beat that.

It's an expensive country though. And only London is really locked down with surveillance crap. I'd move there (not to London) in a heart beat. Everyone is awesome, their beer is good, their food is interesting, and they know how to have a good time.

BTW...

England, Scotland and Wales make up Great Britain.

Great Britain and Northern Ireland make up the United Kingdom.

There, now you are informed.

The US is winning a few dozen more medals in the winter Olympics than the Brits are.

Most British cars have horrible electrical problems.

The US doesn't have to pay obnoxiously high taxes just to own a TV.

Oh, and we DO have Chuck Norris. That's not an opinion, that's a fact!

I'll never understand their convoluted system of government over there.

Are any of the individual countries actually sovereign states?

And why does Southern Ireland get no love? Are the two under separate governing bodies?

I'm going to wiki some of this, but I thought I'd post my confusion as well. 🙂

I'd take a road trip across the US over a road trip across Great Britain any day. Things are cheaper hear too.

Plus in the US you actually have the right to defend yourself.

Because Ireland told GB to fuck off and the two of them had some words about it... some of them not to long ago. They are two separate countries and governments.
