WAY too many troops who were known to have been captured...but were never seen/heard from again.

I think the Vietnamese could claim the exact same thing.

Would we be able to account?

I agree, but at the end of the day, the fighting was done in SE Asia and not in the US. The remains would still be in Vietnam.
