What dog stays perfectly still when someones holding it by its neck? Even when he goes back to throw it?
I pray to god thats fake.

Grab any small dog by the scruff of the neck, they don't move or struggle.

Just like Abu Ghraib.

Because we know our soldiers are not killing machines; they are lovable, huggable bunnies.

you'd be surprised how little of a machine they are individually. but yep, once in packs, a lot due tend to act like machines. but to this extent? That's a mind that's troubled.

It could have further story. I doubt it would be random. Like a puppy that was discovered in a house they raided or something. Regardless, piece of shit horribly represents the U.S. Soldier. Throw a brick at me if I ever become this way. I'm gonna be the one that goofs off as much as possible to PREVENT this shit happening to me, but go to business as usual when necessary.

Correct, which is why people grab dogs and cats by the scruff. So they don't move.

Gotta be fake. The dog just sat there with it's legs still in the normal position.

When I lift my dog up by the scruff of the neck, his legs drop and he wiggles around.

Edit: my cat, too.

I reported it. I think PETA will be able to figure out if it's real or not, and raise hell about it if it is.

These soldiers are sent to kill people who believe in something just as much as our forces do, including innocents who really have no say, yet the moment one of them kills a puppydog - who knows nothing of horror - you all are up in arms? Really?

precisely. Holding a dog like that, especially one so small.. they feel utterly helpless. You get a small dog suspended in the air and it freezes out of pure terror. It takes a lot of bonding to get an animal to trust you enough to where it may move at all if you pick it up. And I'm not even sure if any will move at all if you have it picked up by the scruff.
my puppy, when I pick her up and kind of cradle her... she used to freeze. She relaxes now, a little bit, and daintily gives little 'kisses'. She's my baby. 🙂 (sorry, had to have a happy moment because this thread pisses me off)

they trust you and feel more comfortable. Dogs tend to contract their legs when picked up and they are terrified.

we have a job to do. Fight and not die, when commanded to do so. This is NOT something the U.S. Armed Forces would do, and as a society we greatly treasure the lives of pets. You should know this.

Little puppies just kind of curl up like that. I use to carry my black lab puppy around like that, and he would be very still. If he was whining and bothering me, I'd pick him up like that and sit him in my lap. He'd fall asleep. :moon: But while being held by the scruff, he was perfectly still.

When I used to pick up my kitten she would do the exact same thing that puppy did.

In all the time I spent in the army I never personally met anyone that would do this.

But go ahead and smear hundreds of thousands of soldiers for the actions of one, or a few.

That's what small minds are best at doing anyhow.

that's what our exceptional media has helped to accomplish: fill small minds with slander of our Armed Forces. And those small minds propagate the bullshit and love to believe every soldier is a heartless, cold bastard that loves to do one thing: kill and maim.

And I'll fight for that right, however they need to practice a little bit of reservation.

Don't take jpeyton too seriously...he hates the United States and would like nothing more than to see our country fail in every possible way.

wheres the uniform markings?

that's a good question. Why is there no patch on the left upper arm?
but the rest of the uniform seems authentic. Maybe they removed the patch so they wouldn't slander their unit? (ACU = velcro)

if this is real (the yelps of the puppy are convincingly real sounding, but it seems like a badly edited video), I will personally fuck that soldier up.
killing humans in war, especially other humans that do not value life, I have no moral qualms about. Taking life of innocent humans I will never condone. Taking lives of an innocent animal in such a brutal way, deserves a little special punishment. Especially a puppy.

Yes, animals die all the time, blah blah blah don't lecture me. But this is another reason I tend to enjoy the company of a dog more than most humans I have encountered. That soldier, however, I'd especially enjoy some time with. Fucking worthless piece of shit.

this is, if its real. If it's fake, he deserves an ass kicking just for trying to pass it off as real. But nothing more than that. And still scum.

I didn't watch the video because I can't believe anyone would perform such a henious act on such an innocent creature but reading the posts in this thread I am just appalled by this.

Destrekor's post pretty much sums it up for me. 🙁

If any of you feel like reporting it, this a snip from PETA's site.

Regarding sites like Myspace and Youtube, please immediately bring any offensive videos to PETA?s attention by e-mailing us at Info@peta.org. We require a direct link to the video and to the poster?s Web page. Do not post angry comments, and do not complain to the social-networking or video-sharing site about the video, as it might remove the video before PETA has the opportunity to investigate. As a precaution, please download the video and save the Web page/user profile so that PETA can be sure to view both. After our investigation, we will petition the site to remove the video and delete the user?s account.

I usually don't care too much for PETA, but I think they are best equipped for determining if the video is real or not.

Yes, every one of them is a soulless terror, waiting to be unleashed upon a perfectly innocent world.

Hopefully it is fake.

What can a domestic terrorist organization do about it?

They're better than nothing.

Get the video taken down, possibly figure out who that soldier is, whatever...
