Cheetos in your vag? giggity....my shit is too complicated. I have an accountant. Im issuing 1099s have 1099s and multiple w2s. Lots of writeoffs. Trump fucked me.
this. No interest deductions. I did dump a large amount extra on the charitable 12/2017 for the deduction that I would not get if I donated in 2018.Next year a lot of you folks that hire cpas should really consider doing it yourself since the standard deduction is being doubled and the house deductions are getting cut off at 10k. I suspect at least 50% of you guys won't be itemizing next year...
I take the standard deduction so I could literally pencil in my return.... but I use TurboTax for the hell of it....
Of course that doesn't mean I paid for it...

You lucky dog!I keep it simple. I live on less than $10k a year, so I don't have to file!![]()
For people planning to use this, Be aware they still don't support form 1116 (foreign tax credit). Other unsupported items https://help.creditkarma.com/hc/en-...-situations-Credit-Karma-Tax-does-not-supportFor the last couple of years I've used Credit Karma Tax.
We have 6 rental properties, all with depreciation and their own expenses, and my wife is self-employed. I will use a CPA, and a really good one at that, for the rest of my life. The guy we use has a degree from UC Santa Barbara and he has over 25 years of experience.
FTR-I am an accountant and I prepared our taxes every year until a couple years ago. I’ll never do them again if I can help it.
Which is why I said 50%. Situations like that is definitely where i would bring in a CPA as well. It's the people that itemized for years off mortgage interest and property taxes that are highly unlikely to be itemizing... and good riddance, I hated that shit that incentivized HCOL areas
By the way, when you did do your own taxes what parts were the biggest pains in the ass?
Free fillable forms is the closest thing to an IRS site. It is run by an IRS contractor and there's no marketing bullshit. The tax prep industry keeps Congress well greased so I don't expect any thing better until the revolution.Use to be able to file an form over the phone, I did that a couple times years ago.
And there were plans to have the gov host sites to pay your taxes online with them. They built the computers facilities but it was canceled and left abandoned for years.

Date? Should I be touching up my blades?until the revolution.
No, my wife is definitely not that open minded but thanks for asking.Date?
That's probably not the best first question to ask a potential date. At least compliment her first.Should I be touching up my blades?
50 shades of CPA?Actually planning on getting raped by the cpa. Hmm, if I keep going back, year after year, is it really rape?
