Urine Test Question

So I had to get a urine test after my doctor's appointment today. Standard stuff, right? I'm standing in line, and there are about 7 or 8 people in front of me. For each person, they give them a disinfectant napkin (both men and women) thing and tell them to wipe themselves before urinating in the cup. I finally get up there and the nurse tells me that I don't need to use the wet napkin and that the instructions don't apply to me; I could just piss in the cup and that was it. The only difference between me and the other people in line that I could discern was that they were all at least middle aged.

Any possible explanations?

was it for a drug test? if so, there might be different requirements depending on what the test is for

if you are talking about a medical test, like for diabetes, then i have no guess

Okay, here's the update. I had both blood and urine tests and they were gonorrhea, chlamydia, LDL/HDL, thyroid, kidney, liver, and diabetes. Does that help?
