I feel a tingle in my upper back after finishing a set of deadlifts, this is good right? Means its actually working my back? Theres no pain or anything and it dosent last more than 15-20 seconds.

you are pointing to your traps or an area just underneath them.

If you are experiencing pain in that area, try to make sure you have a neutral head position through the movement...DONT look up. For me, this means looking at the ground a ways in front, then my sight picture changes as i stand up while i keep my head and neck position the same.

Another thing that might be getting you up there is a rounded back. Think about keeping your shoulders back to maintain a flat back for the top portion of our back.

HTH.

Tingling is NOT good after deadlifting. It's likely that you're letting your shoulders drop too much when you have the weight in your hands. Make sure you don't let that happen - hold your shoulders in the same position as they would be in if you didn't have the weight in your hands.

Tingling aka paresthesia is indicative of nerve aggravation. With deadlifts, letting your shoulder drop (depress) is the most common cause of this, as it puts excess tension on most of the nerves that supply your arm. You need to fix that before you get deadlifting heavy again.
