that bike does not have the anti-bob feature of the more expensive bikes but its a great buy for $800. :)

personally, I think next years FSR XCs look cool...

Here's the whole 05 lineup that hasn't been posted on the site yet. Just let it load, it takes awhile. :)

Which bike would you recommend then, not that I'm in the market for a new bike since I just got my hardrock not too long ago.

Okay, which bike do you recommend with the anti-bob feature. Not that I'm in the market for a new bike since I have the hardrock.

The Specialized Enduro seems to have it, but these are way too expensive of a bike. What about the fsr xc pro disc? http://www.specialized.com/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=6758&JServSessionIdroot=0kil4jiw8m.j27005

It doesnt have that feature but i'm not saying that you'll be bouncing like a pogo stick on it like maybe some department store bikes. It says XC on it for a reason. ;) Take a look at other bikes as well, like Santa Cruz, Giant, etc. The S-Works, Epic, and Enduro have the brain feature, Santa Cruz's VPP is a different design but similar purpose and Intense uses the same technology, Giant has the NRS, etc.

These are all expensive bikes. I'm joining you with enjoying the hardrock hardtail. :) Can I see your bike again? Please post the link. :)

Try this site if you're going to look for one. It'll definitely be a nice upgrade and will certainly be a lot lighter than the RST. :)

Those Manitou Blacks are really expensive! It's 599 usd on that site, and that's double the hardrock itself.

the only thing you should change on the bike is (maybe) the pedals, tires, and add a suspension seatpost (thudbuster).

save all your money for a nice FS trailbike if you really get hooked and just ride that thing until it breaks.

There's $249 Blacks here... but theyre coil not air. Nothing wrong with coil I think it would be a significant upgrade over the RST but after upgrading everything on my bike... i'll tell you that in my opinion its probably not worth it for an entry level bike. Ride it to death and get yourself a nice swanky new ride later on. :)
