Pretty sure that was his point?
Although I don't keep cars long enough for salt to be a concern.
Maybe it was. Hard to tell from just the pic and a LOL for the comment.

I'd be hard pressed to find a car that a C5 would be an upgrade from. Those are the worst looking vettes of all time IMO.
Nope the 73 corvette is the most horrid, with the mix of chrome and plastic bumpers.
The C4 corvettes ain't no beauty queens either.

This. It's 'doable' but pretty ridiculous to drive a Corvette around in the snow IMHO.
You're crazy! C3s were the best. C4s weren't bad either, just more angular like everything else in the 80s. C5 was just ugly.
I think your just looking for attention
What's funny about that?If I owned a car like that there is no way I'd drive it in the snow and salt. That just destroys cars. I grew up in upstate NY and I knew plenty of people with nice cars who put them up for the winter.
Not to mention the fact that a Corvette isn't exactly the best choice for driving in the snow.
It's a Corvette=dime/dozen. It's not some ultra rare thing. This is why car washes were invented.

no. the c5 was the best since the c2 sorry!
No thanks. I prefer to just pretend the C5 never happened. It is stupidly round, ugly, and just not good to look at. They fixed this with the C6, thank god. The C3's were just amazing. Curves and sharp. The C4 was everything the 80's car design stood for. Boxy and still sharp. The same guy that designed the Contour looks to have had his input on the C5...
Uhm....no, but valiant troll effort, here's a cookie. dime/dozen is CamCord not Corvette. U.S. car sales were around 15 million last year. Less than 10K corvettes were built in 2013. Some of those went overseas. You do the math. Just because you've seen a few in the wild does not = dime/dozen. It would be a stretch to even call Camaros and Mustangs "dime/dozen"
Driving such a nice car in the salt and then subjecting it to the scratch-fest auto wash would be a dang shame. What are you, some 1% who uses a Vette for your winter beater so the Ferarris don't get dirty?
This is AT. Anything that isn't a $150,000 Mercedes or BMW is crap and dime a dozen
You're* and the C5s are about the most boring Corvette's released.
